<p>The eagerly anticipated release of the first series of RDK Weekend Surprise has arrived. RDK and DJ Zhang Youdai are proud to host one of Denmark’s finest jazz bands, The Cathrine Legardh Quartet in Beijing. They will be performing for one-time only special performance at “THE PLACE” on May 14, 2010.</p>
<p>Cathrine’s voice has been described as “utterly soothing” and “most impressive”. The Danish singer primarily sings American jazz standards, inspired by such artists as Chet Baker, Fionna Duncan and Jay Clayton.</p>
<p>The RDK Weekend Surprise series is an innovative solution to bring alive the RDK brand in China. RDK will play host to a range of small cultural events that celebrate creativity and arts through free public art installations, music and visual art performances at its retail store outlets throughout China to allow shoppers, and the press to interact and experience its stores differently.</p>
<p>As a beloved member of the creative community, Youdai is someone who connects with our audience, and a person who has always made a priority of inspiring new connections through creative arts, Youdai is a natural fit for RDK,” said Angy Wang, brand manager for RDK.  “We look forward to our relationship with Zhang Youdai, and the opportunity to develop a special featured CD album that will be only released in RDK stores.”</p>

<p>Robe Di Kappa values its Italian roots from its brother brand Kappa and seamlessly inherits the sense of freedom, innovation and a relentless pursuit of perfection. At the same time what separates Robe Di Kappa from the sexy football spirit of Kappa is the low-key approach and ambition to reinvent sportswear into a new territory of luxury sports fashion.</p>

<p>Working with Trends Media, RDK fall/winter 2010 collection theme of “Modern Movement” was brought to life by Chinese supermodel Song Ning. The launch took place in March 29th at “Wall” art center in Beijing. Attendees include the talented DJ Zhang Youdai, local celebrities Wu Shixian, Mr and Mrs. Bei Bi and Xiao Yufeizhuo.</p>

<p>The brand collection was introduced by RDK brand Manager Ms. Angy Wang who explained the current fall/winter 2010 collection was inspired by the vibrant Modern Art Movement of the 1960s and elements from futuristic outer space exploration adventures.</p>

<p>2010 Fall/Winter collection follows a similar creative direction based on Movement and Modernity themes. Marked by finely cut garments and subtle color choices sprinkled with a bit of flair, this unique collection combines the 1960s Italian design aesthetics in noteworthy textile choices inspired by the late architect ETTORE SOTTSASS.</p>
<p>RDK continues to highlight its stellar Italian heritage in its fall collection by presenting the human exploration adventures in new space and featuring exploration of the outer space desires at the winter collection.</p>
